In 2020, I was part of the BerlinRosen team on the No on 115 campaign, a state-wide initiative organized by Abortion Access for All to defeat a restrictive anti-abortion ballot measure in Colorado. This measure would have implemented a 22-week abortion ban, forcing a pregnant person to carry their pregnancy to term with no exceptions for health or individual circumstances, including cases of rape, risks to the pregnant person’s health, or a lethal fetal diagnosis.

I developed the campaign branding, creating a logo and visual identity for use in digital and social media, print materials and physical collateral. I also led the design work on the direct mail campaign, developing several waves of mail, assessing the results of rigorous focus group testing, and adjusting creative accordingly to ensure only the most persuasive messaging and visuals were put in front of voters statewide. Our efforts paid off, and on election day, Proposition 115 was defeated with a majority vote of 59.1%.
